![]() I've written a lot of posts mostly about me, which isn't surprising since it's my blog, duh!? This won't be a lot different but there is someone I want to share with you, my bestie, Desiree. I've had quite a few best friends in my life. Sometimes we faded apart, sometimes we fought, sometimes we just grew up. I was always at a different place in my life and I was never at the place I am now, with the feelings and emotions I feel today. Around two years ago, Desiree walked into my life and I never imagined the impact she would have. At the time when we met I had a best friend, I was in my third trimester of my first pregnancy, and she became my cleaning lady. I saw her as this young (college aged) girl who needed a few extra bucks. She was quiet but polite.

As a mother of two [under two], the amount of questions that run through my head each day are countless, always to the point of exhaustion. I'm sure all of the other mothers reading this can relate. Please read on for a good relatable laugh...
![]() I recently packed up the kids and travelled 6 hours (one way) to visit my cousin, Katie, for the weekend. Katie, who is one year older than me, has always been more like a sister. Although I really only got to see her during special events and holidays, we've always been very close. Her sister, Michelle, is one year younger than me; so the three of us grew up very close, but Katie and I were always the closest. |
